Ex-Porn Star Lana Rhoades, Mike Majlak Split Weeks After Denying Cheating Rumors

Former porn star Lana Rhoades and Mike Majlak are no longer together, the YouTube star confirmed Friday.

In a seven-minute video on his YouTube channel, Majlak, 35, gave fans an update about his and Rhoades' relationship, revealing that he and the ex-adult film actress, 24, have called it quits after dating for nearly 10 months. But he emphasized that the split was amicable and asked fans to respect and support his former girlfriend.

"It was a video that I didn't ever want to have to make. And also, it was a video that I didn't ever think that I would make," he said in the clip.

"I remember back to the days of David and Liza's breakup video it always just felt weird to me to have a breakup video. And here I am making a breakup video," he continued, referring to David Dobrik and Liza Koshy's viral 2018 video announcing their split.

Majlak said he felt it was necessary to inform his subscribers about the breakup because his vlog channel had become a personal outlet for him and Rhoades, whose real name is Amara Maples, over the past several months. He added that he wanted to clarify the split to his audience, who may be wondering why they broke up when they seemed happy on camera.

Majlak explained that there was no special reason for the breakup, but he and Rhoades simply wanted different things. He described his ex as traditional, linear and someone who wants to settle down and have a family with her man. However, the YouTube star admitted that he didn't share the same views.

In the past months, Rhoades had been telling him about her vision for their future, which includes getting a house and moving in together. But Majlak said he wasn't ready to settle down at the moment.

"Long story short, I just haven’t been happy and neither is she. It’s been making me be unhappy to see her unhappy," he explained.

"It was eating at me every day to know that not only was I spending time with someone who I didn’t think was going to be my partner in life but also that I was wasting her time," he continued. "And that I was continuing to lead her towards this idea that we are gonna have this magical life together."

Majlak and Rhoades’ split comes weeks after rumors surfaced claiming that they had cheated on each other. They addressed the speculation in a video on Majlak's channel posted earlier this month, clarifying that there was no truth behind the rumors.

In Majlak’s new video, he made it clear that Rhoades is “fiercely loyal” and that their split had nothing to do with third parties.

Rhoades and Majlak began dating in January after the latter's friend, YouTube star Logan Paul, introduced him to the retired adult actress for his 35th birthday on Jan. 13. The two connected immediately upon meeting and shortly after began dating.
