Lana Rhoades had a difficult time trying to join Raya, a dating app popular among the wealthy and famous, when she was single.

Rhoades, Olivia Davis and Alexa Adams discussed dating and dating apps in the third episode of their cooking show, "3 Girls 1 Kitchen." When the former adult entertainer asked her co-hosts if they have been using dating apps as a "way to meet people during COVID," both Davis and Adams revealed they are on Raya but only the former said she had used it during the lockdowns.

Adams explained that she downloaded the app two years ago when she "was going through something" but hasn't messaged anyone on Raya for over a year. Rhoades then shared her own experience with the dating app.

"You're taking that for granted," Rhoades said. "Whenever I was single, Raya rejected me like four times. I can't get on it."

Davis chimed in saying Rhoades doesn't need it since she is now dating her YouTuber boyfriend Mike Majlak, but the OnlyFans star clarified that she has no plans to use it even if she does get accepted.

"I just want them to accept me," Rhoades explained with a laugh. "So I can just feel accepted. Not that I'm gonna use it. It just would be nice to feel accepted."

Rhoades is far from the only person whose application has been turned down by Raya. Kevin Roose of The New York Times reported in 2018 that only 8% of applicants are approved by Raya. At the time, there were 100,000 people on the waiting list to get into the dating app's community of 10,000 members, the report said.

Since it was launched in 2015, several celebrities have reportedly been spotted on the private, elite, members-only app. These reportedly include Channing Tatum, Cara Delevingne, Drew Barrymore, Amy Schumer, Ben Affleck, John Mayer, Kelly Osbourne, Joe Jonas and Trevor Noah.

A source told Us Weekly that Tatum joined Raya following his split from Jessie J in 2019.

"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" star Kiernan Shipka is one of the app's biggest fans, telling Stylist in 2019, "Raya for life. Love it. God bless Raya."

Meanwhile, one of Rhoades' friends, porn star Riley Reid, also earlier encountered trouble when using dating apps. She told her social media followers in October that she struggled to find dates during the lockdown because apps she signed up for keep deleting her profile.

"Hi, I’m Riley & I’m very single," she wrote on Instagram, along with a snap of her lying on a hammock in a leopard-print swimsuit. "Dating apps always delete my profile & with COVID dating has been HARD."
