  • Khalifa clapped back by saying that such pictures do not justify the threats she’s been receiving online

Ex-porn star Mia Khalifa has been quite vocal about her struggles with the adult film industry and she’s been doing everything to get the justice she deserves. Khalifa has been battling porn sites like Pornhub and BangBros and urging them to remove the content she produced while she was working with them from their platforms.

While the TikTok star has been using her social media accounts to talk about the trauma she continues to face due to her three-month career in the porn industry, some netizens continue to mock her on social media by uploading her old photos.

Recently, a troll shared old pictures of Khalifa on Twitter and wrote, “This you?” The photo was taken from the sports commentator’s Christmas shoot.

However, Khalifa was in no mood to take the criticism lightly and decided to clap back at the troll for uploading photos that made her life miserable. The 27-year-old celebrity slammed the troll for implying that she deserves all the “sexual threats” she’s been getting for doing such a shoot.

“It sure is me, [explicit]. Why? Are you trying to insinuate that because I had the audacity to show my covered nipples at my Christmas shoot, that I’m deserving of misogyny and sexual threats?” Khalifa wrote on Twitter.

The exchange between Khalifa and the troll comes almost a day after she accused BangBros of promoting her “traumas” for its own benefit. She insisted that BangBros did not do anything for her and is still promoting her videos to generate revenue.

The former adult movie star uploaded a couple of screenshots in an Instagram Story. The screenshots featured an article by Bustle from 2015 that called out BangBros for producing the very demeaning “I Can’t Breathe” parody porn movie. The title of the flick was apparently inspired by Eric Garner’s last words before he was killed during an act of police brutality.

Khalifa slammed the organization for producing such a movie, saying that the company does not care about "anyone." The former porn star also revealed how the whole office was excited to see the video getting a lot of negative publicity at the time of its release. According to her, everyone at the company was excited because the negative reviews would encourage more people to search for it online.

Meanwhile, Khalifa previously admitted that she did not open up about the issues she had with the porn sites before because she knew that she would be ridiculed by everyone. However, she felt that it was high time for her to stand for herself and let the world know what exactly happened to her when she did her first shoot. She also explained how the company and its executives continued to "deceive" her and used the photos from that shoot on their porn websites under her name.

Khalifa’s fans have started a petition for the removal of her explicit videos from various porn platforms. As of late, the petition has been signed by more than 1.75 million people.
