Ex-Porn Star Zoe Parker Dead At 24; Twitter Reacts

Former porn star Zoe Parker passed away at the age of 24 on Saturday, Sept. 12. The cause of her death has not been revealed.

A GoFundMe page set up to help cover Parker’s funeral expenses revealed that the former adult star died in her sleep. She had “moved back to Texas from Los Angeles to be near her family to start a new life,” fiancé Jay Campbell wrote.

“She had started doing great and recently announced her engagement and by all accounts seemed truly happy for the first time in her life,” he added.

Following the announcement of her death, fellow porn star Mia Malkova took to Twitter to mourn Parker's passing.

“RIP sweet girl, you will be missed,” she wrote.

The official social media account of the Adult Performers Actors Guild also tweeted about Parker's death, posting, “Heartbroken to hear of the passing of Zoe Parker. We're sending our strength and love to her family, loved ones, and fans.”

“Very saddened by this I was on set with Zoe a few times my heart goes out to her and her family,” Sarah Vandella, another adult industry colleague, wrote.

“I lived w/ @zoeparkerxxx for a short time in LA. She was always incredibly sweet & sincere, and deserved far more than she got in this life,” adult performer Nicky Rebel said.

Parker got her start in the porn industry in 2014 by performing for adult websites such as Desperate Pleasures and Bang Bros, according to Adult Video News. Two years later, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in porn fulltime and worked with studios like Evil Angel, Zero Tolerance Entertainment, Adam & Eve Pictures, Girlfriends Films and Filly Films, among others.

In 2017, she earned an AVN Awards nomination for best virtual reality sex scene for VRBangers' “Valentine's Day Surprise.”

Parker was active on social media, and in a 2017 interview, she said interacting with fans on Twitter was one of her favorite pastimes.

“When I talk to my fans on Twitter, it makes me more conscious of the things they like/don’t like seeing me do on camera,” she told adult industry reporter Holly Kingstown at the time. “I think it helps me to know my audience more and be able to give them what they want.”

In the same interview, Parker said that those in the adult entertainment industry were “some of the most genuine and intelligent, business-minded people” she had ever met. She named actress Nina Hartley as “probably the wisest woman” she met in the industry.

Parker opened an OnlyFans account before her death. She had amassed only 26 fans on the subscription platform before she passed away.
