Brietbart BI Insider, a fake news site sendup of the alt-right Breitbart News, published an article last week about a Somali immigrant using Rapper DMX's mugshots as its main photo.

“We take an AMERICAN approach to the news. No more spin from media elites or academia snobs,” the site's About Us section reads.

BI Insider, whose motto is “Make America Great Again,” made a picture collage showcasing DMX’s eight mugshots.

“A Somali migrant who allegedly entered the U.S. through the Gulf of Mexico has finally been deported under Trump’s border enforcement — but what happened prior will shock you,” the article begins.

Somali migrant, Jawahir Ahmed, 59, “has been residing in the U.S. over nine years. He entered the U.S. shortly after [President] Barack Obama took office, and has been leaving a trail of victims in his wake ever since,” according to the fake publication. Please note, Obama took office eight years ago.

Many people on social media were perplexed about DMX’s picture gracing the article.

“So when were y'all going to tell me that rapper DMX is an honorary Somali *cries in y'all gon make me lose my mind*,” a Twitter user wrote.

“Holy shit. I had no idea DMX was a Somali migrant. Thanks, Breitbart,” wrote another.

Early Wednesday, the site also used Rapper Tyga in an article about a Muslim teenager who had planned to blow up a synagogue.

“The Federal Bureau of Investigation held a press conference Tuesday evening, announcing they had made an arrest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, of a terror suspect who planned to use jet fuel to cause structural damage to a local synagogue and collapse it,” the article began.

“Prior his arrest, Abu Omar al-Shishani told an undercover agent in deep cover that he planned to pull off the attack Wednesday morning, and frame members of the alt-right for the attack.”

The fake news site also claims “is the proud recipient of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize, awarded to us our investigative reporting on Comet Pizza’s connection to an underground Muslim sex trafficking ring.” There's just one problem: The 2017 Pulitzer Prizes won't be awarded until April 10.
