Fall TV Premiere Dates 2016: Watch Season Premieres Of ‘Scorpion,’ ‘Timeless’ And More On Monday, Oct. 3
End the first day of the work week by kicking back with some new TV. Plenty of shows are either returning or starting Monday, Oct. 3.
“Timeless” is one of several new dramas premiering. Historian Lucy (Abigail Spencer), soldier Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and engineer Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) team up to stop a man with a stolen time machine. Flynn (Goran Višnjić) wants to use the machine to change the past to destroy the world as it currently is, and only the trio can stop him in NBC’s new sci-fi show. “Supernatural” creator Eric Kripke serves as executive producer.
Sci-fi fans will recognize Hayley Atwell from “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” but her new ABC drama “Conviction” is set entirely in the real world. She plays Hayes Morrison, a former first daughter who finds herself being blackmailed. The party girl ended up in jail, and she has to take on a government job in order to keep the scandal quiet. She is now in charge of the new Conviction Integrity Unit and investigates cases where the convicted felons might be innocent.
CBS has their own legal drama starting Monday night. “Scorpion” Season 3 will kick off with a two-hour premiere. The intense episode will show hackers taking control of military aircrafts and warships and targeting major American cities. The team will have to find a way to regain control of all the weapons that have been hacked — especially the nuclear ones.
Elsewhere, reality fans can catch Bravo’s latest real estate show, “Yours, Mine or Ours.” Real estate agent and “Shahs of Sunset” star Reza Farahan teams up with interior designer Taylor Spellman to help couples move in together. They help the duos decide whose place is better suited to their needs, if renovations are necessary or if they just need to get a new home together.
Those looking to get into the Halloween spirit can check out “Halloween Baking Competition” on Food Network. Seven chefs will be baking creepy confections in order to win $25,000. Sandra Lee, Carla Hall and Damiano Carrara will judge while Jeff Dunham hosts.
