Family Of Five: Jessica Simpson Gives Birth To A Baby Girl Named Birdie

Jessica Simpson and her husband, Eric Johnson, have welcomed a little girl into their family with the arrival of Birdie Mae Johnson.

This is the third child for Simpson, 38, and Johnson, 39, as the couple also has a daughter named Maxwell, 6, and a son named Ace, 5.

Birdie weighed in at 10 pounds 13 ounces according to Simpson’s Instagram post on Wednesday.

The news of the baby girl follows an Instagram post by a pregnant Simpson in bikini with the caption “Jess-tation” on Monday.

Simpson and Johnson welcomed Birdie to the world on Tuesday, after the surprise of finding out they were pregnant with a third child.

“Jessica and Eric are over the moon,” a source told Us Weekly in September about their pregnancy. “They are so happy and very excited. It’s fun because Ace and Maxwell are at an age where they understand what is happening. They are really cute waiting for their baby sister.”
