As the holiday season begins, many people will decide to head to theaters with their children in November. Here are three new family-friendly movies they can see in theaters

Two unique options are already in theaters which give those looking for something rated PG a choice between which they may prefer.

"Arctic Dogs," which is an animated film, tells the story of an arctic fox who works in a mailroom but dreams of instead doing the deliveries himself. The adventure comedy stars Jeremy Renner as Swifty, Heidi Klum as Jade/Bertha and James Franco as Lemmy. Many other well-known faces will also be lending their voice talents to the film.

The other Nov. 8 offering was "Playing With Fire," which follows a crew of firefighters who attempt to rescue three rambunctious children. The family comedy runs for 96 minutes and features Judy Greer as Dr. Amy Hicks, John Cena as Jake Carson and many others.

Perhaps the biggest release on the list, Disney's "Frozen II" will make its way to theaters on Nov. 22. The animated adventure-comedy continues telling the stories of Anna (Kristen Bell), Elsa (Idina Menzel), Olaf (Josh Gad) and the other familiar faces from 2013's "Frozen." "Frozen II" is rated PG and has a run time of 103 minutes. The trailer can be seen above.
