‘Famous In Love’ Season 1, Episode 3 Synopsis; What Happens In ‘Not So Easy A’?

“Famous In Love” Season 1, episode 3 will premiere on Freeform on Tuesday, May 2, at 9 p.m. EST, but fans can already watch it online.

Episode 3, titled “Not So Easy A,” follows Paige (Bella Thorne) as she becomes overwhelmed by her schoolwork and all of the things she needs to do as a lead star in “Locked.” She previously assured her parents that she will not have any problems balancing school and work, but she’s close to realizing that it could be impossible.

While working on a school paper and trying to beat the deadline, Paige gets called by the staff from “Locked” to attend a series of wardrobe fittings, photo shoots and screen tests. To make things worse, Paige will also learn that the budget for “Locked” has been trimmed down. This means that the salary she’s expecting to receive will not be as huge as she thought after all.

Luckily for Paige, her friends, Jake (Charlie DePew) and Cassie (Georgie Flores) will be more than willing to help her out and give her a pep talk. Jake, who has feelings for Paige, will also be meeting with an agent about his script.

Meanwhile, Freeform has also dropped a series of sneak peeks from “Famous In Love” Season 1, episode 3. In one of the clips, Paige will be spending quality time with Rainer (Carter Jenkins) while outside the studio. While driving around the studio, Paige sees an entire room being remodeled. Rainer tells her that the room will serve as their set for the film. Paige couldn’t contain her excitement when Rainer asks her if she wants to go inside. When they finally did, Paige couldn’t believe how things have been working out so well for her and her dreams.

The second sneak peek focuses on Rainer’s mom, Nina, telling him that the budget for “Locked” has been cut. At first, Rainer still manages to make a joke, but when he finds out that it’s his mom’s job on the line, he starts to act seriously. Nina tells Rainer that cutting his paycheck may also be beneficial for everyone. The latter doesn’t think it’s a good idea because “Locked” could be a hit or miss for him. If the film becomes a hit, he could receive an increase, but if it doesn’t, he could be receiving the smallest pay of his entire life. But in the end, he still agrees with his mom’s idea.
