Farrah Abraham-Amber Portwood Update: ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Explains Future With Maci Bookout And Catelynn Lowell
“Teen Mom OG” reality star Farrah Abraham got exactly what she wanted: She doesn’t have to work co-stars Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout or Amber Portwood. The new mandate occurred after Portwood swung—and missed—Abraham at the MTV reunion special, which filmed in October. Even though the incident happened months ago, viewers got to witness the action Monday.
“I didn't have to attend the rest of the reunion or specials [because of what I consider Amber’s] criminal behavior,” Abraham, 25, told Us Weekly Wednesday. “MTV legal has said I no longer will ever have to work with or around Maci, Catelynn or Amber.” She added: “They are not to be trusted, and the network knows how to keep them sequestered together and myself separate from now on.”
Abraham argued MTV granted her wish so she and her father, Michael, would not sue. Michael tried to protect his daughter when Portwood jumped on stage and ultimately wound up fighting with Portwood’s fiancé, Matt Baier. He was apparently injured in the attack.
“MTV is covering the costs to fix my dad's hearing aids, as well as all leg injuries and other bills and casts that were requested by my dad's lawyer since MTV knew and put my family around criminals and the instigated fight,” the sex tape star said. “MTV is diligently keeping my dad happy so they hope my dad won't press charges but has every right too.”
While Abraham is pleased with the arrangement, her co-stars, who she called the “three stooges,” are not. The sex tape star did not have to sit down with the rest of the girls to talk to reunion host Dr. Drew Pinsky-- and it annoyed Bookout. She left the taping early and Lowell and Portwood followed her.
Even though “Teen Mom OG” is over, viewers can watch “Teen Mom 2” when it airs Monday, Jan. 2 on MTV at 10 p.m. EST.
