Farrah Abraham Has No Idea Who Trayvon Martin Was: 'I Feel Like I've Met Her'
Farrah Abraham does not know who Trayvon Martin is, and that was revealed on the “Matty P” radio show Thursday. The former “Teen Mom” star was on the show for the live celebrity interview segment, which takes place every week.
Celebrity site TMZ reports that when asked about Martin, Abraham replied, "I feel like I've met her or something. It sounds so familiar. ... I don't know what she is, so I can't picture the person with the name right now," she continued.
Of course, Martin is not a woman but the 17-year-old unarmed black male teenager who was shot and killed last February by George Zimmerman. The case became national news, as it caused outrage due to race relations and gun control laws. Last Saturday, Zimmerman, 29, was acquitted of the killing, sparking reactions from around the world, including civil rights organization NAACP, which said Sunday that it is “deeply troubled by the jury’s verdict.”
Protests have been held around the country after the decision was announced, including in major cities such as New York and Los Angeles, and high emotions continue to surround the verdict.
Meanwhile, the ex-reality star is most well-known these days for trying to maintain her 15 minutes of fame. She has a sex tape she made with porn star James Dean, and she recently underwent plastic surgery to enhance her looks, getting D-cup breast implants and a nose job.
