Farrah Abraham On Sex Tape: 'I Live Without Regrets'
Farrah Abraham can’t get enough of reality television. She’s currently starring on VH1’s “Couples Therapy” but went back to MTV to do a “Teen Mom” special. Even though the original “TM” series was canceled, the network wanted to catch up with the original crew, excluding Maci Bookout, whose special premiered months ago.
Unlike her “16 and Pregnant” castmates, Abraham has remained in the spotlight ever since the MTV cameras stopped rolling. She started out slow, penning a memoir, “My Teenage Dream Ended” and jarring a hot pepper pasta sauce, but she became tabloid gold when she starred in a porn video, which she still refers to as a sex tape.
In her special, “Being Farrah,” she explains to her mother Debra that she doesn’t regret any of the choices she has made in her life. “Making a sex tape changed the course of my life forever, but some of my biggest challenges have been my greatest teachers,” she said in Sunday’s one-hour special. "I live without regret.”
Abraham explained she moved from her hometown in Iowa to Austin, Texas, to live a more “normal” life, but when went out with her friends it was clear she’s not an average 22-year-old. People continually took photographs of the reality star as she dined with her friends; some people shot the photos from afar while others asked for a picture with the “Backdoor Teen Mom” starlet.
She adamantly denied being a “porn star” and hoped her daughter would one day accept her choices, even if other people don’t. “I don’t know if Sophia will understand my choices,” she admitted, “but I hope one day she knows everything I’ve done has been to support us.”
“Couples Therapy” airs on VH1 every Thursday at 10/9c.
