The official Twitter page of the franchise has announced that the trailer will be released on Jan. 31, 2020 at The Road concert in Miami. Among the performers to be featured at the event are Cardi B, Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth, Ozuna and Ludacris.

Ludacris has been a part for the franchise for a long time, and the upcoming movie also includes Cardi B and Ozuna as cast members. Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham were in the spin-off movie of their respective characters, so they won’t be returning to the main saga in the next film, CBR reported. Michael Rooker and John Cena on the other hand are a part of the cast.

It remains to be seen which of the cast members will be there in Miami for the “Fast and Furious 9” concert and trailer drop. Lead cast member Vin Diesel, who is reprising his role as Dominic Toretto, is expected to be there at the event.

In a previous post on Instagram, Diesel told the fans that the franchise has always belonged to the fans, and it will continue to be that way. Apart from the movies, the actor confirmed that they will be releasing a new game.

Diesel has already seen the trailer, and it is apparently 4-minute long. After seeing the video, the actor said that he was speechless. He was joined by fellow cast member Michelle Rodriguez in the video, and Diesel said he told her that she is going to be blown away by it.

“Fast and Furious 9” will be released on May 22, 2020. The film has been directed by Justin Lin.
