FAU Student Jonatha Carr Threatens to Kill Professor, Students in Racial Meltdown, Tased by Police [VIDEO]
A Florida Atlantic University student (FAU) named Jonatha Carr was tased after she had a meltdown during an evolution lesson in class because of racial issues where she threatened to kill her professor along with other students in an episode caught on video by a student.
How does evolution kill black people? Carr, 24, asks repeatedly in the video in an angry rant gone to her professor. However, her professor, Stephen Kajiura, was actually lecturing about peacocks' feathers and natural selection when she outburst from the front row, according to The Daily Mail.
Carr became increasingly mad and began spouting off obscenities along with threats to her professor and other students in the class because she was not happy with her professor's answer.
I will kill the f--k out of you, Carr exclaimed directed to Professor Kajiura. You are f--king sick. You better shut the f--k up before I f--king kill you.
Carr then marched around the classroom and hit a male student in the head, provoking him to hit her back.
FAU officials arrived on the scene to quell Carr, though she fought back, momentarily until police arrived. Police subdued her with a taser gun and took her away in a squad car.
Professor Kajiura told the student newspaper at FAU that Carr became increasingly belligerent.
It was at this point, a highly emotionally charged individual who was no longer capable of responding rationally. She was threatening to kill both me and the students in the class, he said.
Kajiura said that students watching the outburst gave up and started texting.
Carr's classmate, Rachel Bustamante, who recorded the episode on video, said it was the craziest thing I've ever seen.
Jonatha Carr was expelled from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) and is being held in a hospital, according to the university.
