F.B.I arrest close to 130 mobsters
The FBI has arrested more than 100 suspected mobsters on Thursday.This FBI Mafia bust is the largest ever in New York's organized crime history.
The arrests took place in New York, New Jersey and New England thismorning on charges of drug trafficking, extortion, murder and others.
According to the FBI, the roundup took aim at aim at all five of NewYork's Mafia families and one family in New Jersey.
The law enforcement efforts were coordinated between federal and localauthorities, including the FBI, U.S. Marshals, the NYPD and New YorkState Police.
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder had a press conference at 11 a.m.today to discuss law enforcement actions towards organized crimemembers and associates.
