'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 5, Episode 9 Preview: Landmines And Oil
The heroes will be on another big rescue mission in “Fear The Walking Dead” Season 5, episode 9. Preview videos of the next episode tease Morgan Jones (Lennie James) and the others trying to help a woman trapped in a house that is surrounded by landmines.
The one purpose that is guiding the heroes is the aim to help the people they can to bring back some humanity in the post-apocalyptic world. This mission will take them to a woman who has locked herself up in a house, and she is afraid to step out because there are landmines buried around the house.
A preview video of the next episode shows Morgan getting a call about needing some help. The place that he reaches is a barricaded house that has landmines all around it to keep outsiders away.
A broken fence has led to zombies walking into the yard and getting blown up by the landmines. The terrified woman in the house is too afraid to step out because she doesn’t know how many landmines are there around the house and where they have been buried.
Morgan and the others will spend a lot of time helping the trapped woman in “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 5, episode 9. The first thing they will need to do is fix the fence and stop the zombies because the noise of the explosions could attract a horde, which could then overwhelm the house with numbers.
Another preview video of the next episode teases the plot will also include the search for oil fields, which is the main theme of the season. With fuel running out in all the cars across the country, control of oil fields means power that people like Logan (Matt Frewer) want for themselves.
Meanwhile, Althea’s (Maggie Grace) interviews will continue to play a big role in telling the story. A new video that was teased on the official Twitter page of the show gives some insights about a family man who emerged from his seclusion to check on his former place of business.
“Fear the Walking Dead” Season 5, episode 9 is titled “Channel 4,” and it airs on Aug. 11 at 9 p.m. EST.
