Fed Ex Employee's Husband Opens Fire at Facility Near Chicago
A Fed Ex employee's husband opened fire at a shipping center Thursday morning, eventually committing suicide.
Benyamin Robinson entered the store before 8 a.m. and was screaming his wife's name and shooting, according to the Chicago Tribune. The people working inside ran for cover, including Robinson's wife, The AP reported.
Around an hour later, Robinson killed himself.
There were no other reported injuries. The Tribune said it is not known how many of the center's 67 employees were present at the time.
Other employees at the Bedford Park facility were understandably shocked by how things transpired, they told the Tribune.
He came in wielding a gun, said an employee at a company near the facility FedEx employees stayed at during the shooting. He got into a vehicle and started firing. People were trying to hide under other vehicles, they were running outside, they were taking cover.
