The U.S. Open men's singles final between Roger Federer and Juan Martin del Potro is scheduled for Monday 4:00 pm EST, according to the US Open website.

Federer is seeking his sixth straight U.S. Open title, after beating Novak Djokovic 7-6 (3), 7-5, 7-5 in the semifinals with a spectacular in-between-the-legs shot that Federer called the best shot of his life.

This is the first Grand Slam final for sixth seeded Del Potro, who defeated third-seeded Rafael Nadal 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 Sunday afternoon.
