‘FIFA 17 Mobile’ Gets Major Update; Meet Scream Team Players Who Will Get Upgraded Ratings For Halloween Event In 'FIFA 17'
“FIFA 17 Mobile” gamers who are playing the mobile version of EA Sports’ famous football video game using their Android, iOS or Windows 10 Mobile devices are in for a treat just two weeks since the game was released. A major update is reportedly rolling out, and it is introducing improvements into the game.
Based on the changelog that EA released, the major update has enhanced the Attack Mode difficulty levels, Seasons, skill game zones and maps and extended language support to Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Also mentioned in the changelog is the revision on the stats in Player items.
PhoneArena reports the primary improvement that comes with the update is the enhanced gameplay, since now players can enjoy better crossing speed and accuracy. Visual enhancements are also noticeable in the skill games, Plans slots, Live Events and in Attack Mode.
Windows 10 Mobile players are the first to enjoy the enhancements the major update came with, though the update was first introduced to the iOS and Android platforms, as per PhoneArena.
Meanwhile, just this Friday, EA Sports took to its official website to announce that the Scream Team is coming to the console version of “FIFA 17” this Halloween season. This is going to be possible through the new event in FIFA Ultimate Team called Halloween in Ultimate Scream.
According to EA, the Scream Team refers to the players who will “come alive” or get upgrades during the Halloween period — from Oct. 28 through Nov. 1. The players are said to get “utterly terrifying” ratings boosts for the event.
The Scream Team players who will get Halloween upgrades include the following: Dimitri Payet, Filipe Luis, Douglas Costa, Romelu Lukaku, Wesley Sneijder, Per Mertesacker, Artiz Aduriz, Andrea Pirlo, Mario Mandzukic and Joel Matip.
Also included in the list are Mohamed Salah, Hakan Calhanoglu, Costel Pantilimon, Mario Gaspar, Hakim Ziyech, Marouane Fellaini, Hector Bellerin, Ike Opara, Mario Balotelli, Thomas Müller, Ryad Boudebouz, Emre Mor and Adebayo Akinfenwa.
The event will end on Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. PDT. By that time, the ratings boosts will also end and the players’ ratings will revert back to their initial state.
In addition to the Halloween in Ultimate Scream event, players will also enjoy the Squad Building Challenges that already started on Oct. 21 and will continue to run until Nov. 7. Once completed, players will receive rewards such as the Ultimate Scream themed kit and different position-based versions of the Ultimate Scream players.
