Fifth Harmony Alum Camila Cabello Gushes Over New Single Ahead Of Release Date

Although there is still some time left before the release of her single “Crying in the Club,” Camila Cabello is getting fans pumped up about her new music.

On Wednesday, the 20-year-old took to Twitter to express her excitement about the tune and share some information for those awaiting the premiere of her new song. “GUYYYS!! So excited pre-save #CryingInTheClubFRIDAY @spotify,” the “Bad Things” singer wrote.

Cabello went on to reveal that she even has a special treat for a select amount of fans. “I got lil t-shirts for my top listener,” the singer tweeted. Fans who have Spotify or sign up for the music app can pre-save the singer’s new song to their account which means it will appear in their library when it is released.

In doing this, “The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving” music playlist will automatically be added to their library and will update as each new song off of the album is released.

The frenzy over Cabello’s new single comes months after teasing her solo project to fans. After the singer chose to leave her music group Fifth Harmony to embark on a solo career, she promised fans that she would release new music showcasing the real her.

On Sunday, Cabello announced the date of her new single explaining that all the music from the album will be about her journey “from darkness into light.”

The singer’s album will reflect on her time in Fifth Harmony when she was struggling to sing music that did not relate to situations in her life.

“‘The hurting the healing the loving’ is the story of my journey from darkness into light, from a time when i was lost to a time when i found myself again,” Cabello wrote.

In her lengthy post, the singer discussed feeling unhappy for a long time and choosing to write music as a way to deal with her problems.

“I was completely broken during that time, i was in the kind of pain that’s uncomfortable to talk about, and it was the kind of chapter you never want to read out loud,” Cabello explained.

When it was announced that Cabello chose to leave Fifth Harmony in December, the singer and her former group seemed unhappy with the way her exit was handled.

While Cabello revealed that members Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane Hansen, Normani Kordei and Ally Brooke Hernandez were well aware of her choice due to her unhappiness in the group, Fifth Harmony argued that she never really voiced her opinions to them and her exit was rather abrupt.

Despite the miscommunication with her exit, Cabello managed to move forward past her darker days and make an album. “As i got happier and happier, i realized the songs were getting happier and happier. and i realized i wasn’t making music just to make an album anymore, i was making this music to heal,” the songstress wrote in her Twitter post teasing her new music.

Although Cabello has yet to announce what time the “Crying in the Club” music video will be released, many artists tend to drop music and visuals at midnight. Fans will just have to keep an eye on Cabello’s social media for the next 24 hours until she releases the song.
