Although there is still some time before her rumored single released date, Camila Cabello has continued to tease fans about her new project on Twitter.

“Just eatin some soup,” Cabello captioned the picture.

Prior to that, Cabello was driving fans wild by hinting at potential lyrics. “I’m not okay, but i’m getting closer to it everyday,” she tweeted.
One fan asked the 20-year-old if the quote she wrote were lyrics to a song to which she replied “ST.”
“What does this mean?” one fan asked.
“Are these initials to the song’s name?” another fan asked.
However, Cabello has not responded to any of her fans inquires perhaps leaving them in suspense since her rumored solo debut is Friday.
The abbreviation for ST can stand for “Something,” according to Internet Slang. However, Urban Dictionary has a few theories of what ST can stand for including, “Screw That, Small Talk and Such That.”
After leaving Fifth Harmony in December, Cabello told fans that she would be “working on my own music and giving you a big chunk of my heart.” Her bio on Twitter reads “brb making an album.”
During her time in the music group, Cabello spent her spare time writing songs. “I’d been writing and creating songs the whole time that I was in Fifth Harmony. It’s been a really important creative outlet for me. I feel like I found my voice in the process. Music has helped me become self-aware and know who I am as a person,” she told Latina magazine in March.
The “Bad Things” singer went on to tell the publication that she had to leave Fifth Harmony for her own happiness. “I started in the group when I was just 15. I needed to follow my heart and my artistic vision,” she said.
“I’m grateful for everything we had in Fifth Harmony and for [this new] opportunity. I am less focused on success and more on doing my best and pursuing my artistic vision to the fullest, wherever that takes me. Of course, I also hope people will enjoy my music!”
Rumors of Cabello’s solo release first came about when Us Weekly staff writer Nick Hautman tweeted that the singer will release music in the first week of May. “Camila Cabello’s debut solo single is out May 5,” he reported.
Although she and her team have neither confirmed nor denied the reporter’s tweet, it is likely that the singer will put out music sooner rather than later. Cabello is scheduled to perform at the Billboard Music Awards on May 21 and celebrities are known for debuting new songs at award shows.
Cabello may either take this path or she could release her single before the award show and perform it live when she hits the stage.
Only time will tell what Cabello has in store for fans but for now, they just have to wait for her to make her next move.
