Fifth Harmony is back and better than ever following Camila Cabello’s exit in December. The group, who released their first single in June, shared the latest song off of their upcoming album, followed by a sexy new music video.

On Friday, 5H’s Instagram page shocked fans when it announced the release of the “Angel” music video. Fans were still gushing about the vocals in the song when the visuals were placed on the group’s YouTube page.

In the video, the ladies sing about not taking a relationship seriously, insisting if the other person in the romance can’t keep their word, then there was no reason for them to keep theirs. “Who said I was an angel?/ When you look at me, what do you see?” they alternate while singing the chorus.

“Open your eyes/ I’m more brilliant than you'll ever be,” they continue.

In “Angel” Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen and Ally Brooke Hernandez are featured in flashes as they sing their parts and appear in various sultry outfits

The four women also appear in a scene with a red car, with Hansen and Jauregui lying on opposite ends of the vehicle in mini dresses.

Prior to the release of the video, the group shared the track list off of their upcoming album, which featured ten songs. Fans have speculated that songs like “Made You Mad” and “Messy” may be directed at Cabello, but Harmonizers will just have to wait until the album is released to see if there is any shade.

“Angel” comes a little over two months following the release of the first single, “Down” off of their third album, which they teased for several days before premiering the song and its music video.

In June, Jauregui told MTV that the group was more involved in the songwriting process compared to their previous albums. “It’s definitely elevated itself throughout the years, and we’ve come to a place where we are co-writing more than half of our album. So we’re much more integrated in the process and the lyrics and the sounds,” she explained.

The 21-year-old singer also revealed that their new album would be an enhanced version of their typical sound. “It’s just more of an authentic hone in on that sound, of the Fifth Harmony sound, which I feel like is pop, R&B, mixed with urban, just rhythmic tones and having that sort of be the basis and foundation of where we go,” she said.

Since Cabello has left the group, the four remaining members have put on a united front, insisting that her exit has brought them closer. In a recent interview with Seventeen, Kordei revealed that there has not been tension in the group following Cabello’s exit. “It’s so beautiful having four women on the same page. There’s nothing we can’t get through together,” she said.

Prior to that, Hernandez told MTV that their time as a foursome has helped them gain strong opinions on what it means to be in a girl group. “Definitely knowing that everyone has their strengthens and everybody is very talented and we’re all human beings, we’re all women,” she said.

“Understanding that and knowing that we’re here to support each other and to encourage one another in this journey is something so special that we carry on to one another, and we show just respecting one another is key,” the singer added.

Fifth Harmony’s self-titled, third studio album is scheduled for an Aug. 25 release date.
