‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Movie Star Eloise Mumford Shares Behind-The-Scenes Photo With Brant Daugherty

Filming for the “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequel is currently underway in Vancouver and the cast and crew are so delighted to be back that they’ve been sharing behind-the-scenes photos with their fans! Last week star Bella Heathcote delivered some images of Christian Grey’s (Jamie Dornan) former lover, Leila. And this week, actress Eloise Mumford has some photos of her with newcomer Brant Daugherty.

Mumford portrays Anastasia Steele’s (Dakota Johnson) roommate and best friend, Kate. While Anastasia gets tangled up in Christian’s kinky world of BDSM, Kate finds herself in a relationship with Christian’s adopted brother, Elliot (Luke Grimes). The 29-year-old actress took to Instagram Thursday to reveal that she’s back on set for the second film, “Fifty Shades Darker.”

The photo is spoiler free, but still gets fans of E.L. James’ books excited for the next installment in the franchise. And fortunately that wasn’t the only shot that Mumford took. She shared another image from set, this time with actor Brant Daugherty, who joined the cast in February.

Daugherty, of “Pretty Little Liars” fame, will be playing Luke Sawyer, a member of Christian’s security team. In E.L. James’ books, Christian hires Sawyer to watch over Anastasia (Dakota Johnson). Although not a main character, he’s an important part of the plotline when Leila’s introduced.

For those unfamiliar with “Fifty Shades Darker,” Leila begins stalking Anastasia after the death of the love of her life. She becomes obsessed with Christian’s new girlfriend, and even breaks into Anastasia’s apartment with a gun.

The twist is that Daugherty is not set to appear in “Fifty Shades Darker.” Instead he will be making first appearance on-screen in the third installment, “Fifty Shades Freed.” The movies are being filmed back-to-back.

“Fifty Shades Darker” will be released in theaters on Feb. 10, 2017. “Fifty Shades Freed” will hit theaters on Feb. 9, 2018.
