‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Star Dakota Johnson Shows Off Cleavage In Stunning Valentino Dress At Los Angeles Premiere
“Fifty Shades Darker” star Dakota Johnson recently wowed the crowd in a stunning Valentino gown at the film’s premiere.
In the photos from the event, Johnson stunned in a blush-colored gown from Valentino’s Spring 2017 ready-to-wear collection on the red carpet of the “Fifty Shades Darker” premiere, which was held in The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday, Feb. 2, People reported. The 27-year-old actress oozed glamour in the single-color crepe dress, which sported a plunging neckline and backless criss-cross detailing. Johnson complimented the evening gown with mauve eyeshadow and lip color and pulled back her brunette locks into a low braid.
Johnson was joined by her “Fifty Shades Darker” co-stars Jamie Dornan, Kim Basinger, Rita Ora and Marcia Gay Harden, along with author E.L. James during the premiere. Ora also grabbed attention with her gorgeous Giambattista Valli Spring 2017 Couture gown. Check out the photo of her look below:
Meanwhile, Johnson previously opened up about the “Fifty Shades” franchise and BDSM during an interview with Glamour U.K. for their March 2017 issue.
Johnson, who portrays Anastasia Steele in the trilogy, shared that she grew to appreciate sex toys and other aspects of BDSM— Bondage, Domination, Sadism and Masochism—while filming for the franchise. “Oh some of that stuff is just so beautiful. When we first started ‘Fifty Shades,’ that wasn’t a world I was privy to at all and I soon found out there are all these different tiers,” she said.
While she does find some aspects of it to be undesirable, she thinks the sexy toys are pretty classy. “There are some things out there that are really grimy and nasty, and then there are really beautiful, intricate and chic toys. Actually, whole aspects of the BDSM world are truly beautiful,” she said.
Johnson also confessed that there are times when she regrets taking on the role of Anastasia. “It comes in waves. But this project is not going to be my swan song. It has put my life on a path that I didn’t plan to go down, but I do feel proud of it. And the films have allowed me to do so many different projects and travel so much. In the end, ‘Fifty Shades’ has plopped me in a world that I really wanted to be in,” she explained.
“Fifty Shades Darker” hits theaters nationwide just in time for Valentine’s Day on Friday, Feb. 10.
