'Fifty Shades of Grey’ Author E.L. James Talks Jamie Dornan, Shares Christian Grey ‘Most Interesting Man In The World’ Meme [PHOTOS]

It is clear that “Fifty Shades of Grey” author E.L. James has found her ideal Christian Grey in actor Jamie Dornan. Just five weeks into the production on the erotica film adaptation, James, 50, opened up about her leading man on social media this week, the first time she has publicly dished about the 31-year-old film star since confirming casting rumors that he had signed on to play BDSM-practicing billionaire, Christian Grey in October.

The UK-based writer, who penned the best-selling novel “Fifty Shades of Grey” in 2011, riled fans Sunday by sharing an image of Dornan’s name spelled out on Scrabble board game letter tiles. “Reminds me of something… Or someone… Who can it be?” James posted on Instagram. The image of Dornan’s name has since received over 6,300 likes on the image-sharing site, and thousands of comments from fans worldwide. “Omg Love u Jamie is the perfect Christian Grey. Thank you Mrs. James,” posted Instagram follower Karenpttzn. “Woo! I can’t wait to see them on the big screen! Feb 2015 can’t come soon enough,” posted user Smallfries512.

The popular romance author satisfied fans again Monday by retweeting a viral “most interesting man in the world” internet meme in reference to Dornan’s sexually deviant film role. “I don’t always take relationship advice. But when I do, it’s from Christian Grey,” reads the image. The playful tweet has already received 214 “favorites” from James 471,708 Twitter followers.

James, who in recent weeks has shared more than one image of Dornan’s feet dressed in signature Christian Grey dress shoes, first publicly shared her excitement to see the “Once Upon a Time” TV actor join the film’s adaptation on Twitter last year. “Stow your twitchy palms ladies... our man is here. Welcome to #TeamFifty @JamieDornan1" James posted on Twitter on Oct. 24^th.

Dornan, who has kept a majorly quiet since being cast in the feature film, shared a message with his fans on social media Friday. The post, which the native Irish actor classified as a “selfie,” actually contained a photo of a llama, a practical joke which his followers appeared to have enjoyed. “So glad to see your amazing and funny tweets back!! [sic]” said Jamie Dornan fansite @JamieDornan_org. “Amazing what a good suit will do,” posted fellow fan site, @Grey_Christian.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” started filming in the GasTown district of Vancouver, Canada in November. The film is currently scheduled for a February 13, 2015 release.
