'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Star Jamie Dornan Shows Off Controversial Bulge In 'FSOG' Reshoot Photo
“Fifty Shades of Grey” reshoots started this month, and fans just got a preview from set photos, ET Online reports. Those obsessed with E.L. James' movie version of the popular erotic novel franchise might be particularly excited by actor Jamie Dornan’s well-fitting suits.
While Anastasia (Dakota Johnson) and Christian (Dornan) are fully clothed in the scene, Dornan’s bulging pants are a little risqué for a public setting. Check out the photo below:
Of course, the bulge might not necessarily belong to Dornan. ET Online suggested that he could have an “Idris Elba mic wire problem.” Elba had similar photos taken earlier this year when his microphone wire was mistaken for his genitals. Elba took to Twitter to clear up the rumors. “The good news is i got a s--- load of followers,” Elba posted. “The bad news is, that is a mic wire.”
However, it wouldn’t be surprising if the bulge in the photo was intentional. “Fifty Shades Of Grey” is going to be a racy Valentine’s Day film. It follows college student Anastasia Steele as she enters a relationship with the powerful Christian Grey, a man who introduces her to the world of BDSM.
The film and the James novel have already caused plenty of controversy that makes a bulge photo seem like a minor offense. The book’s readers are reportedly more likely to have an abusive relationship while the film has already been deemed inappropriate by Morality in Media. The advocacy organization declared that the film “glamorizes and legitimatizes violence against women,” Variety reports.
Controversy won’t get the cast or crew down, though. The actors had a great time on the reshoot, E! Online reports. “Jamie and Dakota were having a lot of fun together and laughing a lot,” a source told E News. “They were not focusing on their lines and they kept messing up, but [director] Sam [Taylor-Johnson] was not upset. Sam was with them and they all seemed to laugh it off.”
“Fifty Shades Of Grey” will be released in theaters on Feb 13, 2015.
