"Minecraft Dungeons" release was already good news for those waiting for it, but the goodies just keep coming. The first DLC for the game is due next month, with the title "Jungle Awakens." The pack will contain three missions as well as new enemies and various other additions.

According to PC Games N, Mojang announced the new content in a blog post on its website. They detailed how the two DLCs will arrive, with "Jungle Awakens" coming in July. The developers further revealed that the content will take players on a new adventure in the jungle, which was an area available as a 'biome' in the original, open-world sandbox version of the game.

This jungle, however, is linear in nature, like "Dungeons," and will introduce a mysterious new power at the end of the quest. "Jungle Awakens" also acts as a patch, bringing new armor, artifacts, and weapons into the game, as well as some new enemies. Some of these have been revealed, namely, Leaplead, Poison Quill Vine, and Jungle Zombie, among others.

The second DLC, according to NME, is called "Creeping Winter" and will bring players into the game's frozen biome atop icy peaks. More information on this, according to Mojang's Cristina Anderca, will be released as its launch date draws nearer.

The DLC packs will be available free of charge to players who have bought "Minecraft Dungeons: Hero Edition." As for those who prefer to purchase the DLCs in advance, pricing and distribution plans have yet to be revealed. The two DLCs will also receive more free content "regardless of edition."

The developers are still currently working on "cross-platform play," a feature that will allow players on different gaming consoles to play with each other. "Minecraft Dungeons" is following in the steps of "Dead by Daylight," which had previously teased the new feature's introduction to its home system.
