First-time Dad, ‘Commitment Phobic’ Hugh Grant and the Women in his Life (PHOTOS)

About a Boy star Hugh Grant now has a girl. Dubbed commitment phobic, the British actor has reportedly become a father for the first time, after a string of relationships.

Grant, 51, is said to have fathered a daughter with one of his former girlfriends but the two remain separated. Tinglan Hong, a 32-year-old Chinese woman, is the mother of the newborn. Hong and Grant were spotted together, kissing at a London pub early this year.

When Hong, who is also said to be an actress, was seen to be pregnant in April, speculations were high that Grant was the father. The actor's spokesperson confirmed his fatherhood on Tuesday.

I can confirm Hugh is the delighted father of a baby girl. He and the mother had a fleeting affair, and while this was not planned Hugh could not be happier or more supportive. He and the mother are on very friendly terms, The Sun quoted the spokesperson as saying.

The duo split up after Hong became pregnant; something that seems to happen quite often around the Love Actually actor. His 13-year courtship of British actress Elizabeth Hurley ended in 2000. In that instance, initially the celebrity couple announced (in May 2000) that they had decided to “temporarily split up. But Grant’s romantic connection with British socialite Jemima Khan in 2004 spelt out the fact that he had moved on.

Grant's romantic dalliances didn't involve only celebrities. On June 26, 1995, Grant was arrested in the United States, on a charge of performing a lewd act in public. The famous “golfing addict” was caught with a known sex worker, Divine Brown, in a car around 1:30 a.m. in Los Angeles. His relationship with Hurley was believed to have become strained following this incident, although their actual split came only five years later.
