It was recently announced that actress Julianne Moore has been cast to play former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, in the upcoming HBO film Game Change. The film follows John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign, from his selection of Palin as his running mate up until the very end where they lose to President Barack Obama.
The film is based on the book Game Change by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. The film will be directed by Jay Roach and the script will be written by Danny Strong.
