EA Games has been pumping out trailers for the new Battlefield 3 game and hype for it is at an all time high in anticipation for the Oct. 25 release. The new game, free of suffixes such as Bad Company, returns with added jets, co-op and a bigger and better multiplayer.
EA has shown off tons of new gameplay aspects in these fast-paced trailers. From multiplayer to the single-player campaign these videos are a lesson in how well put together music and video can toy with our emotions.
Regardless, here are the top 5 videos that are sure to get your blood pumping.
Multiplayer Gameplay Trailer
Some of the biggest draws for First-Person Shooters are the online multiplayer modes. One of Battlefield's best features is how expansive and big the multiplayer maps can be, providing a much grander sense of scope.
Destruction Trailer
Destructible environments (or Geo Moding as we used to call it) can be one of the most enjoyable aspects of a game. Battlefield 2: Bad Company offered plenty of destructible buildings. We're hoping player will be able to bring down even bigger buildings in the new installment. From this trailer it seems like we'll be able to do just that.
Caspian Border Gameplay Trailer
64-player multiplayer maps will be a feature only included in the PC version of the game. This trailer shows off the wonderful chaos of how great these huge maps and firefights can be.
Vehicle Trailer
Jets were conspicuously absent from the previous installment, but the 3rd game introduces them back into the fold. But there are also plenty of tanks, helicopters, and humvees to shoot from or at in the new game.
Jay-Z: 99 Problems Full Trailer
This video is more along the lines of toying with our emotions that I was talking about earlier. But it shows off a lot of different gameplay aspects and almost makes you want sign up for combat. Though I'm sure playing Battlefield to Jay-Z's 99 Problems is a lot more fun than real war.
