'Five Nights At Freddy's Sister Location' October Release Date, Map Confirmed In New Teaser
“Five Nights At Freddy’s Sister Location” has a release date, and it’s Oct. 7. That major detail was confirmed alongside the game’s map design in a new teaser on ScottGames.
As is clearly visible below, the mask of the assumed Ennard animatronic can be seen with the corresponding date digits. While previous teasers only showed a small portion of the character’s face, this one features a more pieced-together mask design. It also strongly resembles a then-unknown figure in the initial “Five Nights At Freddy’s Sister Location” trailer.
However, as is tradition with most teasers made by franchise developer Scott Cawthon, there’s more to this image than meets the eye. Buried in the page’s source code are random references to “4g7n0c" and "28jk12." Combining both of those codes into a single Scott Games web address reveals this embedded map outline.
From here we can see that the upcoming installment will bet set in a rather large establishment with several different rooms. The Funtime Auditorium seems like it would be a good place for Funtime Foxy and Funtime Freddy to hide, while the Ballora Gallery seems like appropriate housing for Ballora and her Minireenas. Last in the trio of main spaces is the Circus Gallery. Baby and her Bidybab’s appear fit to reside there. In other words, “Sister Location” seems like it will adhere to the retro “Five Nights At Freddy’s” style of designating its animatronics to certain areas of the map.
Beyond that are marked areas for a Control Module, Breaker Room, Circus Control, Parts And Service area and an elevator. From our perspective, it appears most of those smaller quarters will contain different defense mechanisms that allow the player to survive the night. For example, the Control Module could be some sort of animatronic control while the breakers keep those systems running. We’ll know the full nature of these various rooms once Oct. 7 arrives.
“Five Nights At Freddy’s Sister Location” is a spinoff project based on the popular “Five Nights At Freddy’s” horror series of four games. This new entry features a fresh cast of deadly characters and assumingly expands upon the dense lore of its predecessors. Several teasers were released before this one and a few more might follow.
If the rollout of “Five Nights At Freddy’s Sister Location” mirrors the older games, the PC version will be released on Oct. 7 with mobile iterations due sometime thereafter. The other “Five Nights At Freddy’s” games are available now.
