Four teenagers, including a girl, were arrested in connection with the murder of a 13-year-old student in Reading, UK. Oliver Lucas Stephens, known as Olly, was pronounced dead at Bugs Bottom fields in Emmer Green on Sunday.

Evening Standard reported that officers were called to the spot around 4 p.m. Sunday after joggers found the injured boy in the park. He succumbed to his injuries at the spot, which is just 250 yards from his home.

The five suspects are still in the custody of Thames Valley Police.

According to The Guardian, Kevin Brown, the head of Thames Valley police’s major crime unit, said the investigation remains very active.

"A large scene-watch remains in place,” he said.

The police have also urged witnesses to come forward, including motorists or cyclists with dash-cam or head-cam footage of the area between 3 pm and 4.30 p.m., to aid the investigation.

"Similarly, many families walk in the area, and so if anybody has taken photographs within the area around that time, contact us if you have picked up anything suspicious. I would also be keen to hear from anybody with CCTV footage in the area,” Brown said. Reading’s area commander Supt Nick John said the force would leave no stone unturned in the investigation.

Evening Standard also quoted a man who said his wife was walking their dog through the park on Sunday afternoon when she spotted the boy on the ground. "Several people had gathered around him, trying to give him first aid. My wife said the boy’s face was very white," he added.

Meanwhile, tributes are pouring in for the deceased schoolboy. Olly's sister Emilia took to social media to pay tributes to her brother. Along with his childhood pics, Emilia wrote: "I’m so sorry I failed you, I wish I could have saved you from it all. We will get justice for you my angel."

Headteacher Rachel Cave of Highdown School and Sixth Form Centre said the Highdown community is reeling from the tragic news. "This student was part of our community and many students and staff knew him well. For a life to be ended at such a young age is a total tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family," a statement read.
