‘Fixer Upper’ Season 4 Behind-The-Scenes Photo Teases Opening Of Joanna And Chip Gaines’ Bakery
Well isn’t this a sweet treat?
A new behind-the-scenes photo from Season 4 of “Fixer Upper” teases that Joanna and Chip Gaines have something tasty tucked up their sleeves for the upcoming installment of the HGTV series.
The show’s executive producer Michael Matsumoto posted the intriguing photo of the Texas twosome standing in front of a mysterious, antique brick building. “#season4iscoming and it’s delicious,” Matsumoto captioned the picture, hinting that the new season of “Fixer Upper,” which is set to air in the fall, will introduce the grand opening of Magnolia Flour.
In a blog post for Magnolia Market from October 2015, it was announced that Joanna and Chip had taken on a new, scrumptious project — owning their very own bakery.
“The dream of Magnolia Flour stemmed completely from Joanna’s love of baking and cooking,” the post explained, adding that when the Gaines family had acquired the Silos property in 2014, they were inspired to turn the extra building on their lot into a signature bakery “filled with sweet treats for visitors to enjoy.”
“The vision behind Magnolia Flour is that visitors would be able to feel Joanna’s love of baking, and experience her classic, fresh and unexpected style in the form of pastries, breads and sweets,” the blog post continued, revealing that the bakery will open it’s doors late this spring.
The Waco-based couple have already posted a few photos of their bakery, giving fans a preview of their shop from their stunning subway tile, to an up close look at their industrial metal paned windows and a even a peek at their lip-smacking products. Yum!
“I love the blend of [cream icing] with the strawberry cake for the bakery,” Joanna captioned a photo during her cake testing for Magnolia Flour.
“Fixer Upper” will return to HGTV with its Season 4 in the fall.
