‘The Flash’ Season 3 Spoilers: Barry, Killer Frost Fight Over Tracy Brand
Barry (Grant Gustin) needs Tracy Brand’s (Anne Dudek) help to prevent Iris’ (Candice Patton) death at the hands of Savitar. But it appears that The Flash isn’t the only one who wants something from the yet-to-be introduced recurring character.
According to TVLine, Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) also seemingly needs Tracy’s aid, so Team Flash is forced to fight their friend to keep her from getting to Tracy first. While it’s unclear which party successfully gets to Tracy first, the website reported that Caitlin’s villainous alter ego offers Team Flash an interesting deal.
As previously reported, Tracy is set to make her debut appearance in next week’s Season 3, episode 20. She is a scientist from the future described as “a smorgasbord of quirky idiosyncrasies.” Concealing any hint of the greatness that people will celebrate her for in the future, Tracy embarks on a journey to discover the genius she’s destined to become one day.

In Season 3, episode 18 of “The Flash,” Caitlin technically died after being seriously hurt in a battle against Abra Kadabra (David Dastmalchian). She was then resurrected as Killer Frost after Julian (Tom Felton) removed the necklace that suppressed her metahuman abilities. The episode ended with Killer Frost towering over Julian, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and H.R. (Tom Cavanagh).
According to the synopsis for tonight’s Season 3, episode 19, Team Flash starts to hunt Killer Frost before she can harm anyone else.
Meanwhile, Panabaker is seemingly aware that some viewers don’t completely understand why Caitlin’s metahuman powers automatically make her evil, so during her panel at the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo last weekend, the actress revealed how the producers of the show described the relationship between Caitlin and Killer Frost.
“The way it was explained to me was it’s like an addict, and Killer Frost is someone who lives inside with Caitlin.” Panabaker said. “She’s got this bad person inside her and she’s learning how to be in control with the help of the bracelets and necklace she can squish her.”
“The Flash” airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
