‘The Flash’ Season 6 Episode 13 Preview: Barry Tackles Gorilla Grodd And [SPOILER]

After Crisis, Barry (Grant Gustin) has been feeling overwhelmed. The past seems to haunt him and, in “The Flash” Season 6 episode 13, he seems to indulge in a wacky experiment.

Crisis has changed Barry and in the new “The Flash” Season 6 episode, he decides to conduct an experiment. However, it does not go according to plan. Now, he is placed right in front of Gorilla Grodd (David Sobolov) because of the experiment.

Grodd is The Flash’s enemy but in Season 6 episode 13 he surprises him by seeking his help. Barry is shocked at this new development. Before he can help Grodd, another enemy surfaces. He is Solovar (Keith David), who was the leader of Gorilla City.

Elsewhere, Iris (Candice Patton) is inside Mirrorverse. “The Flash” Season 6 episode 13 will witness Iris teaming up Eva McCulloch (Efrat Dor) to get out of the mirror. Showrunner Eric Wallace told TVLine about how he challenged the writing team to come up with the “craziest Flash story ever.”

The showrunner also stated that due to the fast-paced nature of this season, fans will quickly get to know about Iris and her adventures in the Mirrorverse.

“In shortening the seasons and having Big Bads that are exclusive to fewer episodes, the stories burn hotter and faster, which means we can go further and do crazier things, and accomplish narrative goals and emotional goals that we weren’t able to do in the past,” he said.

“Feeling overwhelmed with all the changes since Crisis, Barry conducts an experiment that goes awry and puts him directly in Gorilla Grodd's path. Expecting the worst, Barry is surprised when Grodd asks for his help. Unfortunately for both The Flash and Grodd, things get worse when another villain appears – Solovar. Meanwhile, Iris works with Eva to escape the Mirrorverse.”

“The Flash” Season 6 episode 13 is scheduled to hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. The episode is titled “Grodd Friended Me.”
