Joey King’s metahuman role in Season 3 of “The Flash” has been revealed.

The 17-year-old actress, who recurred in the first season of FX’s “Fargo,” will guest star on The CW series this October as Magenta, Comicbook.com reported.

Magenta, a.k.a. Frances “Frankie” Kane, will be introduced as a teenage metahuman with a troubled past. Just like the popular “X-Men” baddie Magneto, Frankie has the ability to control metal. Her power, however, comes with a dangerous side-effect, causing her villainous alter-ego to emerge.

In the comics, Magenta was one of the characters who formed the New Rogues. As part of this new criminal group, she was teamed up with Girder. She would use her magnetic powers in order to prevent him from rusting.

At an earlier point, Magenta dated Wally West (played by Keiynan Lonsdale on the TV series). After winning the lottery, Wally bought a mansion in Middle Hampton, Long Island, and asked her to live with him. However, things were moving too fast for her, and she eventually moved out. It’s unclear whether Magenta and Wally’s romance in the source material will be translated to the small screen.

King’s casting was first revealed earlier this month when she was spotted filming Season 3’s third episode in which she will make her debut.

On Aug. 5, Emmy-winning VFX supervisor Armen V. Kevorkian, episode 3’s helmer, was seen directing Grant Gustin in his Flash costume at Vancouver's Granville Square. According to YVRShoots, King was also spotted on the set at the time.

Two days earlier, Gustin and King were also seen filming in a Yaletown laneway. That day, some lucky fans got to personally meet both actors and even had pictures with them.

Besides “Fargo,” King also starred on NBC's sitcom “Bent” and appeared in several films like “Independence Day: Resurgence,” “The Conjuring” and “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” among many others.

"The Flash" Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
