One person was killed and two people are missing after typhoon Sepat, locally known as Egay hit the Philippines according local media.
The Philippine government's weather bureau has warned of a low pressure area (LPA) that is developing into a tropical cyclone and another one by next week that is expected to enter the geographical area where the Philippines government has responsibility for issuing storm and typhoon warnings.
