"Floribama Shore" returns to MTV for another season. MTV

"Chi-chi's up", MTV's breakout show "Floribama Shore" has been renewed for Season 3, with a slight change in scenery. The gang won't be heading back to their old stomping grounds in Panama City Beach. Instead, they will be heading 350 miles southeast to St. Petersburg, Florida.

MTV made the announcement about the popular reality series on Tuesday. According to the press release, the show will reunite original castmates, Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Kortni Gilson, Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Nilsa Prowant, Candace Rice, and Gus Smyrnios.

In just two seasons, the "Floribama Shore" crew have experienced everything from heartbreaks and pranks to laughing and crying. Through it all, they have remained a family and surely a change in location won't change that. Audience's favorite southerners will bring the drama, romance, friendship, and fun along with them as they head towards the Tampa Bay area of the state for the summer.

There is no word on how many episodes the new season will have and it would be hard to guess. The show's first season only had eight episodes while the second season more than tripled that with 26 episodes.

"Floribama Shore" first premiered in November 2017 as a successor to the network's other hit show, "Jersey Shore." The series documents eight young adults living, working and partying together over the summer.

"Floribama Shore" Season 3 will premiere on MTV sometime this fall.
