Florida Man Claims Girlfriend's Disemboweled Body Was Actually A Blow-Up Doll
A man was arrested by the Miami-Dade police after he unsuccessfully tried to convince the authorities that a disemboweled body was a sex doll with human flesh, the Miami Herald reported.
The man was identified as 32-year-old Jerome Wright, based in Florida and was accused and charged with deadly abuse on a human body. The victim was identified as his girlfriend, 52-year-old Deanna Clendinen. According to the arrest affidavit filed by Miami-Dade police Wright is accused of disemboweling the body of his girlfriend and then throwing her internal organs in his mother’s kitchen garbage.
His mother threw out the garbage when she smelled something foul in the house, without realizing that she was throwing Clendinen’s body parts. According to a report in CBS-Miami Local, Wright’s mother Della Rosalie Wright called the authorities when she couldn’t bear the stench inside her house and was unable to point where it was coming from.
She called the authorities on Oct. 27 at her residence in the 6000 block of NW 23rd Avenue in Northwest Miami-Dade. Rosalie Wright also told the police that she shares the house with her son.
It was after the complaint that police checked Wright’s room and found what appeared to be "bodily fluids in a trash can and a mattress." The police also found an unidentified body of a person concealed with numerous sheets and pieces of clothing in a room adjacent to that of Wright’s.
Rosalie Wright spoke to the police and confirmed that Wright had a girlfriend named Deanna Clendinen who used to stay at their home quite often. Clendinen was last seen on Oct. 24 going into Wright’s room, CBS-Miami Local reported.
Rosalie Wright also explained that she reached out to the authorities after her son ran out of his room one day, complaining of stomach ache. It was then that she realized a strong stench coming from his room. She told the authorities about how she confronted her son about the foul smell and he replied telling her that the smell is from a rat that he saw in his room along with complaining that he had diarrhea and that a dog defecated on the floor.
It was later that same afternoon that she smelled something horrible in the kitchen garbage and threw it out before looking inside. Police later questioned Wright about the "body" that was found in his closet. He told the investigators that "whatever was in his room was not real."
He said "there was a life-size blow-up doll in the closet, and that the doll is made of flesh," according to the police report.
Wright also claimed he had not seen his girlfriend in five months. He also denied being in a relationship with the woman. A background check on Wright confirmed that he was on probation for aggravated battery from a case in March 2017. The victim, in that case, was Clendinen.
According to reports, police have confirmed that the body that was found was indeed Clendinen as the organs thrown away by Jerome’s mother were discovered at the back of the home. The autopsy reports are pending so there is no information regarding the cause of her death and the police have not charged Wright for the woman’s murder. However, authorities have said that a murder charge is on the table.
