Florida Man Performed Sexual Act On Underage Boy, Nude Photos Found On Phone

A 27-year-old Florida man was arrested and charged for allegedly having nude photos of an underage boy. The suspect was identified as William Ronald Harrison III.

A mother of a juvenile victim contacted the Marion County Sheriff’s office on Thursday saying that she found nude photos of her son on Harrison's phone. When the mother and the son were interviewed, the woman said she found images of Harrison committing sexual acts on her son. The mother also found four nude pictures of her son that were sexual in nature.

During questioning, Harrison said he was trying to “teach the victim how to pick up a girlfriend.”

Harrison was arrested by Detective Billy Burleson of the Marion County Sheriff’s office and charged with four counts of possession, promoting or presenting material depicting child sex conduct, one count of lewd and lascivious battery promoting sexual activity with a victim under 16, four counts of possession of obscene material depicting child sex conduct, and one count of capital sexual battery on a victim under 12.

Harrison is waiting for his first court appearance and no bond has been set, according to local reports. The relationship between Harrison and the victim remains unclear.

In another case in April, a woman in Otisfield, Maine, sexually assaulted a teenage boy several times at her home. She was charged with sexual assault on May 1.

According to an affidavit, the 16-year-old unidentified boy called 911 from outside 28-year-old Harley Fortier’s home on April 9 and said that he was raped by the woman. The teen had moved to Maine in April to live with a family member. However, he slept in the woman’s home as there was no room for him to sleep in his relative’s residence. The teen and the accused were not related. It was also unclear if the two were neighbors.

The teen told investigators that he slept in the woman’s bed. On April 4, the woman gave him alcohol and the following morning, he “woke up to being assaulted.” The teen added that he was assaulted “one or two times” before.
