A Florida man was arrested for allegedly throwing piping hot ramen noodles at a woman and hitting her with the pot that contained the food.

Brandon Smith, 21, was charged with domestic battery for allegedly hitting the woman with food in Fort Pierce, about 20 miles north of Port St. Lucie, and then striking her on the back with the hot pot, the arrest affidavit states. He was arrested Friday.

Police were dispatched to the scene in reference to "domestic trouble," and the woman, whose name wasn't released, told the cops that it all started when Smith tried to put his dog to sleep on a bed and she opposed it, according to the affidavit.

The man then got angry and allegedly “picked up a pot of hot noodles off the stove, and threw the noodles onto the victim,” the report stated. The woman said that Smith began to hit her on the back with the hot pot.

When questioned by cops, Smith denied throwing hot noodles on the woman and hitting her. He called the incident an "accident" and said that the woman fell on the pot of ramen noodles kept on the stove while "randomly" chasing the dog around the house.

The domestic violence call was made by the "victim" herself who told deputies that "Smith wouldn't stop," New York Daily News reported, citing the arrest affidavit.

Smith was arrested and was booked into the St. Lucie County jail. He is being held on a $5,000 bond on the misdemeanor count. The man has a history of arrests. He was earlier convicted of cocaine possession, resisting police and driving without a license.

In December 2021, a former British service member in Wales who tested positive for COVID-19 was sentenced to prison for throwing his own poop at his stepfather and savaging his sports car. The attack followed a domestic argument. James Anthony Paukovits, 28, threw a handful of his feces at his father outside their home, apparently to coax his stepfather into starting a fight.

The former Royal Air Force serviceman, during his arrest, said he wanted to hurt his stepfather for the emotional hurt he caused him. The attack resulted in the car sustaining more than £6,000 ($7,925) in damages.
