Florida Woman Throws Babies To Ground After Sending 'Imma Off Both Of Them' Text
Two babies ended up in a hospital for treatment of their injuries after a fight between two individuals. The suspect, a Florida woman, is now facing charges after she threw the kids to the ground following an argument.
The incident happened on Dec. 10. Trinity Crenshaw, 20, from Pensacola, was arrested from a home in Escambia County after officers responded to a child abuse report. She had allegedly sent an "imma off both of them" text to a man identified as Joseph Sanders before injuring the kids, WRKG reported.
Detectives obtained screenshots of texts exchanged between Sanders and Crenshaw, one of which read, "Im done with u you n ur babies," the outlet reported.
Sanders told police he had driven to Crenshaw's home after arguing all day. When he arrived at the residence, he saw the woman allegedly walking out carrying babies in each arm. She then threw those babies to the ground from where Sanders picked them up and brought them to the hospital with the help of another individual, Kiro7 reported. The ages of the babies remain undisclosed.
Hospital staff described the children as "hypothermic" when they were brought in, and one of them had suffered noticeable injuries to her face and chest, according to a police report accessed by WEAR. Crenshaw had arrived at the hospital with a split lip.
The report states Sanders reportedly struck Crenshaw in the mouth during the altercation. Deputies issued a warrant for Sanders' arrest for battery.
Police were also provided screenshots of other messages sent by Sanders, which read, "u threw my babies on the ground," to which Crenshaw replied, "I threw them cuz u were full of sh---."
Crenshaw was arrested from the hospital after she was treated for her injuries and is being held at the Escambia County Jail on charges of cruelty toward children. Her bond is set for $10,000.
In another similar incident, a woman allegedly threw her babies out of the window of her Brooklyn apartment after she was "tired of being by herself," according to her neighbor. Dejhanay Jarrell jumped out of the window after tossing her newborn baby daughter and 2-year-old son from the fire escape.
Last year, a Montana woman was charged with murder after calling in the cops to report she had murdered her two kids inside her home and claimed she "saved" them by doing so.
