Floyd Mayweather to Manny Pacquiao on May 5 Fight: ‘Step up Punk'
It seems Floyd Mayweather Jr. is now itching for a fight with Manny Pacquiao so bad that he has called him out on Twitter, asking him for a rumble on May 5 in Las Vegas.
Manny Pacquiao I'm calling you out let's fight May 5th and give the world what they want to see, Mayweather tweeted.
He later followed that tweet with another stating: My Jail Sentence was pushed back because the date was locked in. Step up Punk.
A judge agreed last week, to postpone Mayweather's jail sentence regarding a domestic violence case until June. Mayweather is now free to go fist-to-fist with Pacquiao in May at the MGM Grand Garden before he serves his 87-day jail sentence.
The two star boxers have been dancing around each other for about two years now.
The Associated Press reported that both Mayweather and Pacquiao have said they are eager to battle it out with each other. However, they still have not locked down a deal.
The two began mouthing off to each other in 2009.
Now with Mayweather calling out Pacquiao on Twitter, it seems the decision is left up Pacquioa as to whether he will answer the call.
Do you think the two will ever meet?
