The “Fight of the Century” came to an end with Floyd Mayweather claiming a unanimous decision over Manny Pacquiao Saturday night at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

Mayweather unified his belts and beat Pacquiao in almost every round. Judge Dave Moretti scored the fight 118-110 for Mayweather. Judges Burt Clements and Glenn Feldman had it 116-112 for the unbeaten boxer.

A fight five years in the making, Mayweather credited Pacquaio for winning some rounds, something he’s rarely done for other opponents.

But wire-to-wire Mayweather employed his excellent defensive, counter-punching strategy and largely avoided Pacquiao’s flurry attempts.
