The Foo Fighters said on Wednesday that the band will be performing a tribute concert to honor the death of late drummer Taylor Hawkins.

There will be two concerts altogether. One tribute concert will be on Sep. 3 in London at the Wembley Stadium and a second will take place on Sep. 27 in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum stadium. The tickets will go on sale on June 17.

The Foo Fighters made the announcement in an Instagram post with a picture that says, “For our dear friend, our badass bandmate, our beloved brother…Foo Fighters and The Hawkins family bring you the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts.”

The announcement comes after the band announced in March that they would be canceling the rest of their tour following Hawkins's death.

Hawkins's wife, Alison Hawkins, made a statement on Twitter commending her husband's fans for the love and support. She explained that it is important to have this celebration of his life.

“My deepest thanks and admiration go out to the global Foo Fighters community and Taylor’s fans far and wide for outpouring of love each and every one of you have shown our beloved Taylor. Your kindness has been an invaluable comfort for my family and me during this time of unimaginable grief,” Alison Hawkins said.

“Taylor’s endearing spirit and deep love of music will live on forever through the collaborations he so enjoyed having with other musicians and the catalog of songs he contributed to and created,” she added.

Hawkins, 50, was found dead in his hotel room in Bogota, Colombia, after complaining about chest pain on March 25. A toxicology test taken from Hawkins' urine revealed the 10 different substances that included opioids, tricyclic antidepressants and benzodiazepines, according to a release from the Attorney General's Office in Bogota at the time.
