‘Food Wars!’ Season 5, Episode 4 Live Stream Details, Spoilers: ‘The Last Supper’

After the shokugeki with Suzuki in the last episode, Soma Yukihara, Megumi Tadokoro, Takumi Aldini and Erina Nakiri prepare for the first round of Bishoku Leading Under-25 Entrance (BLUE) championship. "Food Wars!" Season 5, Episode 4, named "The Last Supper," sees the group meeting Les Cuisiniers Noirs. The anime is also called "Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma."

The first day of BLUE championship sees Soma, Megumi, Takumi and Erina at the designated venue, the synopsis for "Food Wars!" Season 5, Episode 4 teases. Soma will represent Totsuki Culinary Academy in the first round and the challenge is – The Last Supper. The spoilers hint Soma and company will meet chefs from Les Cuisiniers Noirs.

The last episode named "Noir" starts with a cooking battle between Soma and Suzuki. Soma whips up a pork cutlet lunch set with black cheese fondue. Megumi, who is judging the contest, notes the flavor of the cutlet wrapped in the black sauce is irresistible. Soma explains the black cheese sauce may look ordinary but it has a few secret ingredients like black garlic.

Meanwhile, Suzuki’s dish for the contest is a deep-fried pork cutlet lunch set with a twist. Suzuki explains Soma’s dish is a standard pork cutlet. He reveals that his dish contains the Chantilly sauce. Soma remembers hearing about the sauce from Master Shinomiya.

Later, Suzuki ends up winning the contest. The episode also reveals the relationship between Suzuki and Soma’s father, Joichiro Yukihara.

Suzuki drops a shocker when he reveals he defeated Soma’s father in a cooking battle. Later, he unveils his true identity as Asahi Saiba.

Later, in the episode, Joichiro meets Soma at their diner. He tells Soma he is dropping by for some work. Joichiro tells his son about giving his best in BLUE championship.

"Food Wars!" Season 5, Episode 4 is scheduled to air Friday, July 24. Fans can watch the episode online on Crunchyroll. Currently, the episodes are available in Japanese with English subtitles.
