Bayern Munchen and Manchester City are said to reach a deal in January that will involve a right-back being sent to Germany on a loan from the English football club.

According to Bild as published by Bulinews, the Portugese footballer is being targetted by Bayern as the club looks to land a natural right-back booster, in the process of putting Joshua Kimmich and Benjamin Pavard to their comfort zones at midfield and central defense, respectively.

The 25-year-old Cancelo played in just six league appearances for the City who acquired him in the summer from Juventus in exchange for €65 million.

Apart from Cancelo, Benjamin Henrichs of AS Monaco is likewise reportedly part of Bayern Munchen's targets to acquire this coming winter transfer window, as reported by Kicker.

Posting a challenge on Bayern's bid to sign the 22-year-old midfielder is fellow German club, RB Leipzig. And just like how Cancelo would affect the field formation of the team, Henrichs is projected to take much of the load of Kimmich and Pavard who had been alternating duties at the right-back position.

Speculations have RB Leipzig luring Henrichs, who appeared for Monaco six times this season, with €20 million.
