Football Rumors: Cristiano Ronaldo Regrets Leaving Real Madrid For Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo is allegedly regretting his decision of leaving Real Madrid to transfer to Juventus in July last year, a number of reports say. The Portuguese superstar is said to have expressed his laments over to his teammates and reportedly rued his choice of leaving the Spanish ball club.

The speculation, as published by Sky Sports, started when the UEFA Champions League all-time top goalscorer failed in his bid to reclaim the Ballon d'Or this year. Earlier this month, the 34-year-old soccer legend placed third for the award captured by his archrival Lionel Messi. Adding more fuel to the buzz fire, it also said that Ronaldo believes he would have won the last two Golden Balls had he stayed with Real Madrid.

The 2018 Ballon d’Or was seized by his former teammate Luka Modric, but Ronaldo insisted that he should have been declared the winner, claiming that his numbers don’t lie.
