  • Juventus is rumored to be in search of a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo
  • Sergio Aguero, Eden Hazard and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were named in the rumors
  • Romano shoots down all three names being rumored to be pursued by Juventus

Juventus is in a state of flux as they try to find a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Since the Portuguese superstar’s decision to return to Manchester United, Juventus has been rumored to be targeting Sergio Aguero, Eden Hazard and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as his replacement.

However, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano made sure that everyone knew that those three players are not on Juventus’ late transfer targets.

Miralem Pjanic and Alex Witsel are both on the list, however.

Arsenal deciding to sell Aubameyang now would be the worst possible move for them as they are yet to score a goal or win a game in the English Premier League.

The Gabonese showed Arsenal fans and manager Mikel Arteta his value in their Carabao Cup domination over West Bromwich Albion.

The Arsenal captain scored a hattrick and was supported by superb performances from Nicolas Pepe, Bukayo Saka and Alexandre Lacazette, who all scored one goal apiece.

Hazard was named in a transfer rumor to Juventus on a loan deal.

The Real Madrid player struggled these past two seasons as he dealt with injury and him being out of form.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti admitted in the past that he is not sure whether he can find enough minutes to go around due to their talent at the position.

“I can’t tell you how many minutes they’re going to play. There’s a lot of competition up front,” said the Italian manager.

“We’ve got some quality forwards like Bale, Vini Jr., Hazard, Benzema and Jovic, who did well [against Levante]. I have to enjoy that quality on the pitch by handing those who deserve to be out there the game time.”

Signing Pjanic is the most likely outcome for the Serie A giants as Barcelona is in dire need of recouping their finances due to the fallout of the global pandemic.

Ronaldo’s decision to leave Juventus was due to his frustrations with the team being unable to win major silverware during his time with the club.

Juventus will need some time to figure out how to deal with losing a player of his caliber this transfer window or sometime later during the mid-season transfer window.
