With Ford (F) releasing the horsepower and torque ratings of its 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 earlier this week, the company has even more in store for GT fans coming in July. Ford has teased of a new GT supercar announcement that is leaving car enthusiasts in anticipation of what may be next from the automaker.

Ford said will showcase the 760 horsepower 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 as the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where it said it will also make a “special announcement” about another GT supercar. The company said the news will center around a “GT ultra-high performance supercar.”

To make the pending announcement even more enticing, Ford showcased a mysterious photo with the announcement of what one can only hope is an even more powerful GT model. The blackened-out car is reminiscent of a Ford endurance racer, Road & Track contributor Bozi Tatarevic pointed out on Twitter based on the GT photo’s new roof scoop design and a large wing.

While it is unclear if Ford will be unveiling a special track model of the GT or something more street-worthy, Larry Holt, director of Ford Performance Hermann Salenbauch and Multimatic CTO will reveal the news to all on July 4.
